Brigit's Bounty is run by a group of dedicated, unpaid folks who have other jobs to pay the bills, plus a part time Garden and Educational Coordinator. The camp programs are run by two Americorps VISTAs. We cannot run a garden this size without the support of lots of volunteers. We welcome workers for day-to-day planting, weeding, and harvesting as well as for special projects. We are also looking for board members.
Some special projects that we could use help with this summer include the building of a shade structure in the Children's Garden and the revitalization of our orchard. The orchard revitalization will be done on the United Way Days of Action - June 15 and 16. If you would like to help with this project, please contact Weld County United Way by clicking here. If you have some carpentry skills and would like to help build our shade structure, please contact us through our contact page or by calling 720-208-0280.
Come on your own or bring your friends, co-workers, or volunteer group. We are happy to accommodate the times you can come or you are invited to our designated work days. See our Events calendar for designated volunteer times. To sign up for these or any other times, please contact us through our contact page. (We have not yet chosen our designated volunteer times for this summer, so if you have a time that would work best for you or your group, please let us know.)
We are located at the north end of the St. Brigit church property at 110 Johnson St., Frederick, CO.
